Gossip Girl - Blair

The Queen Bee herself, Blair Waldorf of Gossip Girl is the topic of the day. I dearly love her style, don't you? I especially like that she can appear so sweet and innocent like Cher in the movie Clueless and be so vicious like Kathryn in Cruel Intentions. But in all the drama and complex relationships in the show, there is fashion and that is one of the reasons, like so many others, watch the show.

I put this outfit together for you that I believe represents Blair so well. I was very careful with finding the right skin, hair and even her signature piece of accessory, a headband. The Arts

If you are an explorer like me, then you probably have already been to Bryn Oh's studio. If not, well, here's the taxi. It's always good to submerge yourself to art and even if you don't fully understand it, you are actually gaining knowledge and widening your opinions to what you think is tasteful and distasteful. Before you know it, you're in it. And that's what I love about Art.

I sure loved putting this look together. Though in a way a bit provocative, in a place like an art studio, it is very welcoming. Ah, in the arts, I found shelter and comfort. It started with this bodysuit from Nemesis which you can get from TFG as well as this fun La Cheville Cale Boots by [el]. I immediately went to Coco to grab this Black and Grey Tuxedo I have been eying on for a while now. Just been waiting for something spectacular to wear it with. This look is unconventional and I love putting together something fresh for you all. Enjoy! :)

A New Beginning

Yes, I know... I have not posted in a while, but I hope you all will be excited with my big news. Ok, so I have been wanting for a while now to open up my own little shop in world creating women's accessories. So I will be creating things here and there and for now will be selling in the market place until I get my shop all set up. The line is called ZEPHYR and for now can only be purchased at The Marketplace. So, please tune in for more!

So nough about me, I want to talk about this photo I took of this place I just found. Very sci-fi, very new world, and a nice contrast with this outfit I just got at PurpleMoon. Can't go wrong with that store. The sweater and leggings is part of their 55L Thursday. The Ribbon Bag is my new creation. I think it goes very well with the outfit and very versatile with the gold sequins. It really ties this whole outfit together. Right now it is on special for 49L. Can't beat that!

Sweeter Than Candy - 60L

I found this outfit from the store Sweeter Than Candy in the list of 60L Weekend Specials. If you are not yet a subscriber, I suggest you become a member as they always have some wonderful finds. This pack comes with 10 different colors for a whopping 60L! Sweet! My favorite is the brown, but I am posting the other colors that I like in the pack. Night Life

I am sure you have had this experience before, of going out at night and you turn one corner and you know you are on the "wrong side of the tracks". Yet you stay and the whole experience envelops and intrigues you. From the dirty dirty subway to the streets with bus stops full of interesting graffiti and signs. You kinda wonder who roams around that area, and at the same time frightened and hoping nothing bad happens to you. I found such a place in SL. Dress to the nines in my new dress from House Of Fox @ TDR, I found the City Of Lost Angels sim. I Took some photos because I was loving the contrast of a sophisticated outfit in a very, shall we say, grungy part of town. Ah, the fun of the night life!

Give me sum Mini!

Who doesn't love a mini? This one has a Liza Minnelli in Cabaret feeling to it. Where's my top hat and cane? Let me tell you, it took me a while to put this outfit together. Countless of different hair, shoes and skins I tried and this is my favorite look. This hair by LeLutka is just perfect for the outfit. Though I love Liza, and I did try different short hair in black, this Farrah Faucet inspired hair style looked perfect with it. I rarely wear a mini dress so if I;m gonna go for it, I'm going all out! You know, I even tried putting stockings on or tights, but it was just unfair, I thought. You have to show legs with these! Be brave! Oh and the shoes? I'm not going to even tell my sorrow and grief! But this strap shoes from G Field is a savior. Once I put it on, I knew that was it, it's perfect with it! Don't you think? Alright, I'm ready to go dancing! Whose my first dance? *wink* I hope you all enjoyed this one. Mwah!

Mesh Is here to stay!

You can't go anywhere now a days without seeing Mesh clothing. If you have not tried it, well, there are some ups and downs, like anything new. This particular outfit, I so love the look of it, though I had problem with size. It was showing more than I wanted to. Ehem... You have to be careful with size. This particular one only has 2 sizes and one is too small and the other, too big, but workable. But that is alright as this is a freebie item! If you do not have a viewer that supports Mesh, it's gonna look really weird on your screen, so make sure you have a viewer that supports it.

I'm increasingly loving this new store, PurpleMoon. My heart pitter patters when I go in. But enough about me, their 60 Linden Weekends set is whats up! You still have time to get it. I just checked today. They have a Monochromatic Set, which is what I purchased, and also a special pack in Red. The set comes with Lily Top, Pants with belt and Bangles you can re-size. I paired it with hair from D!va. The ribbon on the hair can be changed in to many different color texture. Just click on it and a menu will come up to change. I left the neck bare. I hate to add a necklace to a top that has such nice neck line to it. It doesn't need anything there. I hope you agree. It's definitely a fun outfit! I enjoyed putting this together for you. :)

In Pink!

The new collections for TDR is out with a bang, as expected, and the new RICIELLI, "Pretty In Pink Set", is really what I came there for. I was surprised that when I clicked to purchase it, it gave me a landmark to the main store. It was odd... surprised that I would have to teleport myself to another location. Though I was not sad, since it is packed with a lot of enjoyable finds. Yes, the place is grandiose, but you will find this pack just up the step at the front door. I have the exact LM here so you do not have to go through what I went through which is venture off to the bottom section, where you will find, hiding all of their past TDR, which are needless to day, very good deals! Though you may have to bite your lower lip and have the urge to enter that room, I would not blame you, Go ahead. *winks*

I really have to say this is my favorite set so far that I have gotten from RICIELLI. It contains 2 jackets, 2 bodysuits, two shirts and 1 gorgeous spiked leggings for a whopping 70L! I mean, you can't go wrong! If you have not tried any of RICIELLI items, you will not be sorry with this set. I promise. *winks*
